General Bike Maintenance

This class will be outdoors so dress appropriately.

Bring your own bike and the tools you would use so you can practice with what you have.  I will have tools and a few bike stands to borrow as well.  We will ride one block down to Kirkland Bicycle at the end of class to stock up on maintenance needs.

Learn how to properly care for your bike so it'll perform as best as possible for as long as possible.

- Perform regular maintenance services such as cleaning and lubricating components

- Pre-Ride check

- Identify wear of replacement parts such as brake pads, chain, and tires

- Learn about regular service intervals for advanced maintenance (like tune-ups, suspension rebuild, etc)
